The 7 Top Cybersecurity Conferences for 2022

While there are many more cybersecurity tradeshows events and gatherings these are my seven favorites for 2022 in that they all have a unique atmosphere and always great content.   Here they are in alphabetic order:

Blackhat USA 2022

Location: Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV
Dates: August 6-11, 2022

CISO Conferences 2022

Location: Orlando, FL
Dates: October 27-28, 2022

Gary’s take: Where the Top 100 CISOs in the World gather to polish their skills each year and meet the most innovative infosec solution providers.

Defcon 2022

Location: Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV
Dates: August 11-14, 2022

Gary’s take: This is the ‘break all things on the TCP/IP stack’ conference of the year. Burner devices, lock picking gear and aluminum foil actually come in handy here. Assume you’re being exploited at all times a this amazing hacker gathering.

Infosecurity Europe 2022

Location: London, UK
Dates: June 21 – 23, 2022
Format: Hybrid Event

Gary’s take: One of the largest, most comprehensive UK/EU infosec conferences in the world. Very enjoyable – great speakers and a significantly large expo event.

KB4Con 2022
