The rapid adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in cloud environments has
introduced significant new security challenges. Generative AI, with its ability to create, manipulate, and
analyze vast amounts of data, demands robust protection mechanisms.
Based on my experience working with global banking clients since the initial release of Amazon Bedrock,
I’ve seen firsthand how AWS addresses these challenges through an integrated security framework
spanning multiple services: Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q. While many organizations
initially focus on model capabilities, the real challenge lies in securing these AI workloads without
