Dear Friends,
In the August issue of Cyber Defense Magazine, you will find both relevant and actionable
intelligence from a broad spectrum of cyber experts. We at Cyber Defense Media Group are
pleased to provide our readers and clients with up-to-date and cogent articles on which you
can rely in fulfilling your own duties.
In my role as Publisher, I make it my daily responsibility to observe, digest, and select
those topics of greatest value and interest to practitioners in the world of cybersecurity.
Today, we face a continuation and deepening of the effects of COVID-19 on nearly all enterprises which depend
on cyberspace for their operations. The challenges of maintaining security continue to grow with our dependence
on cyber-related systems of all kinds.
In the midst of increasing attacks on cyber systems across the board, we must keep an eye on the effects of “social
distancing” and the prospect of re-opening in-person activities. Since these restrictions do not appear to be going
away in the near future, it’s imperative to concentrate on strengthening protections against cyber exploits.
Sharing actionable intelligence is the first and best means of doing so.
