New York, New York April 17 – The International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC) is please to announce that the 8th Annual Anti Piracy and Content Protection Summit will be taking place on June 26 – 28 in Los Angeles.
The summit sets to bring together the top names in anti piracy and content protection to discuss the latest technologies and best practices that can be used to combat theft. With a new focus on blockchain and bitcoin technologies, the summit will put an emphasis on what’s be proven to work and what is forecasted to work in the future of protection.
Discussions on cyber security and the ways companies can better protect themselves will stand at the forefront of this summit. Pascal Hetzscholdt, Principal Consultant of Cartesian, has said, “I think it’s important for the audiovisual entertainment industry to exchange more information more quickly regarding cyber threats that are particularly relevant to this sector and to become aware of any associated remedies,” in regards to the summit.
In his exclusive interview with IQPC, he shared his thoughts on the best way for a company to protect itself by saying, “Enterprise wide encryption, which even covers the production process, handling and transfer of digital content, is one thing, but it is even more important to track, monitor and especially delete digital assets on a regular basis.” He added, “But first we need to make ourselves more aware of the weakest links in this increasingly complicated digital landscape.”
